Poker is a card game. It is often played as a family game but is also popular amongst the gamblers. Poker has many variations, all following a similar pattern of play and generally using the same hand ranking hierarchy. There are three main families of variants, largely grouped by the protocol of card dealing and betting. The various types of poker are Straight, Stud poker, Draw poker, Draw poker, Community card poker (also known as flop poker) etc. Texas hold-em and Omaha are two well-known variants of the Community family
